Before there was a name, there was a neighborhood. Long Beach in the nineties wasn't a backdrop — it was a curriculum. The streets, the crews, the music bleeding out of every open window. Death Row in the air. The Ruthless era close enough to touch. You either paid attention or you didn't.
• • •The name came in a freestyle session. A room full of MCs. A challenge. He stepped up, hijacked his opponent's style, his flow, his whole delivery — and destroyed him with it. The room named him right there. Skytz. Multiple personalities in the pen. The name stuck because it was true.
• • •Then the military. United States Air Force. Deployed to Iraq. He came back with a callsign — John Maetrikz — and a different relationship to silence. A son to raise. He stepped away from music not because it stopped mattering, but because something mattered more. The responsibility was handled.
• • •May 17, 2026. Active operations resumed. Archive recovery was initiated. New music deployed. The foundation for the next generation of Loyalty Over Money was laid.
The catalog is evidence. The institution is the story. The Pack is being built.
